Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Open2Tec, your safety and training experience are my top priorities. Please read the following policy carefully before booking a course.

1. Booking & Deposit

  • All courses require advance booking and a deposit to secure your spot.
  • Deposits are non-refundable, but transferable if you reschedule at least 14 days before the course start date.

2. Cancellation by Client

  • More than 14 days before the course: You may reschedule without penalty.
  • 7–14 days before the course: 50% of the course fee may be retained.
  • Less than 7 days before the course or no-show: No refund will be given.

3. Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling is usually possible, subject to availability of dates and dive centers.
  • Rescheduled courses must be completed within 6 months of the original booking.

4. Cancellation by Instructor

  • In the unlikely event that I must cancel a course due to weather, technical issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered:
    • A full refund, or
    • Rescheduling to another available date/location

5. Accommodation

  • Accommodation is charged separately and arranged directly with the dive center or hotel.
  • Open2Tec is not responsible for accommodation bookings, payments, or cancellations.

6. Special Circumstances

  • Medical issues: A valid doctor’s note is required for a partial refund or reschedule.
  • Travel issues (flights, visas, etc.): Fees may be non-refundable if caused by circumstances outside Open2Tec’s control.

7. Payment

  • Payments can be made via:
    • Bank transfer
    • PayPal
    • Card
    • Directly on this website (Open2Tec.com)
  • Course completion and certification are only granted after full payment.
